The larger woman's eyes became excited "(Name)" she breathed. The man next to him smirked.
"Though we have to make sure the person falls or hits his head in a very specific way with a specific velocity and force...it is possible to make-"

"His Majesty forget about (Name!" The woman interrupted  There was a silence, the man next to the scientist ordering him out. He turned to the woman.

"So what do you think?" he asked

"I wont ask why you were originally researching about this" Hilda smirked. The man's face dropped.

"That is not for you to know"

"I won't ask" there was a silence.

"Perfect" she said "This is perfect"

And they both laughed.

King Ivan walked down the stairs, he felt himself getting stared at, he slowed down and turned around. There was a silence. King Ivan sighed, maybe he was thinking too much, he started walking again, down the stairs. He felt tired, he had like always, ordered a glass of water for the night, after drinking the water he started feeling a headache coming so to soothe the pain he was going to his office to get his hot water bottle. Now he was thinking it was a bad idea, there was just the 6th sense in his mind which made him want to stop and turn around. But no, the King of Russia was not scared of the dark.

Ivan started walking down the stairs, by now each step was becoming harder and harder to bare, his head was burning up. Was he getting a fever? No. That couldn't be. The King stumbled quickly grabbing the stair hold. He steadied himself. H e was closer to his office, now he couldn't turn back. He just wished he had asked (Name) to get him his hot water bottle. He gave a small groan, putting his hand on his forehead. Spots danced around his eyes, the scene started melting away into one giant blob. Was was happening. Suddenly he felt something prick the back of his neck, he blinked, but before he had time to do anything, his breathing became shallower, sticking in his throat, He fell forward, hardly aware of the steps he was falling on. Silence

(Name) sat up. Had someone fallen down the stairs? She ran out and stopped at the scene. What the...? She ran over to the King, kneeling over him, he seemed to have hit his head.

"Y-your highness?" she squeaked. What if everyone thought it was her who had made him fall? What if she went to prison. Dammit she thought.
"Your Highness?" she asked a bit louder, she felt his wrist, still a pulse. At least he wasn't dead. She was about to stand up to call a nurse when his eyes flickered open. An expression of relief crossed her face. "Your highness, I thought you had died" she muttered. She blinked at his expression. "Erm..."

"What happened" The King whispered.

"I think you fell down the stairs" (Name) muttered "Seriously how could someo-"

"Don't talk to me like that" King Ivan interrupted, his voice quiet, his eyes cold. (Name) blinked, a horrible feeling welling up inside her.
"What are you doing just standing there, go get someone" he hissed. (Name) jumped up, running towards the nurse, her heart racing. Had the King lost his...memory?" All of it? No, he still remembered he was the King, so...Before she reached the nurse she bumped into someone. The person stopped her.

"What are you doing running around at the middle of the night (Name)?" he asked

"The King!" (Name) squeaked "Fell down- lost his memory-stairs- I dunnooo"  she wailed, shaking him. The Guardian blinked.

"You go to your room, don't tell anyone what happened" he said urgently. She stared at him about to protest, he shot her a glare and she quickly went back to her room. She sat down on her bed and groaned. Oh God. Not this again.
_________________________________________________________________________________________
(Name) had been told not to tell anyone, she was dusting the King's shelves, it was 7 in the morning. The Guardian had been relieved to know that The King didn't lose all of his memory, actually it seemed he had only forgotten about, which was worrying. (Name) had been making the King less...angry...and now...The guardian didn't want to think someone had done it by purpose, but he suspected it wasn't an accident.

The door opened, (Name) glance back, but her lips and quickly started dusting again, faster this time. The King started at her for a moment, making her nearly drop the duster, then he walked to his chair and sat down, He opened his mouth, he liked coffee in the morning, but he saw the cup before he could say anything. Good, he thought. He didn't want to have to wait. He took the coffee, there was a silence.

"Ermm..." (Name) tried to catch the King's attention. He glanced up at her.

"I'd prefer if you called me properly, sunflower, da?" he said

"Yes your Highness" (Name) squeaked. Oh no. The King was like that again. Like when he was before. She shrugged to herself, if she kept her distance and didn't take too much attention, she might be able to melt into the background. She glanced at him again, wondering if he remembered how she ended up in the castle. (Name) coughed in order to get his attention, the King glanced her way, a look of annoyance flickering on his face.

"Si- Your Highness, I'm done..." She stared at him, the King frowned.

"Stop looking at me like that, you're giving me a headache." He snapped, (Name) sighed, he had lost his memory... maybe it was only of the most recent events. The king frowned again. "Are you 'sighing' at me?" He asked sweetly, a small smile on his face. (name) didn''t like the look on his face. She shook her head quickly and muttered an apology. "A bit louder if you could sunflower."

"I'm sorry your highness, but I didn't... erm wouldn't" (Name) corrected herself. "Ever..." She added, just to make him believe it.

"Fine, get out, your voice is giving me a headache." The King snapped. Good, (Name) thought narrowing her eyes. "Before you go, why are you here, where is Hilda?" He asked. (Name) blinked.

"Sir- Your Highness... erm... you appointed me as head..." (Name) mumbled.

"I'm sure  I did sunflower." The King tilted his head. "I don't like liars" He added coldly. (Name) blinked, what was her plan again? Oh yeah, keep calm, don't lose your temper, stay in the background. She nodded slowly.

"Your Highness you signed a paper..." The King glanced at the pile of paperwork on his desk. (Name) didn't know why she was just sticking to this job, maybe to get Hilda annoyed... that was probably it. The King meanwhile, took out a piece of paper and nodded.

"Yes, you are (Name), am I correct?" (Name) nodded slowly. The King glanced up, he didn't recall doing this... though he would never admit it.

"Sir you must have been very tired..." (Name)reassured him, with a smile on her face. The smile was as fake as her words. The King waved his hands towards the door, dismissing her. (Name) turned and walked out. The King called her back in, sharply. She sighed and slithered back in, her shoulders slumped, she'd forgotten how he used to be...

"What do you say before you leave?" The King asked quietly.

"Thank you...?" (Name) asked, uncertainly, the King nodded.

"Now straighten up and walk like a lady should." (Name) stopped herself from scowling.

"Yes your Highness." She muttered.

"Good, now go, da?" (Name) nodded slowly.

"Why thank you for dismissing me your Highness..." (name) tried hard not to add sarcasm. The King blinked, he didn't know if she had just used sarcasm, but none of his servants did that... they wouldn't dare. (name) quickly hurried out.

(Name) knocked on the door. She could hear voices in the office. The King ignored the knock. (Name) knocked again. She heard the King sigh.

"Yes?"

"Your Highness, may I come in?" she asked sweetly. There was a silence.

"Fine"

(Name) shuffled in and blinked at Hilda. "Erm your Highness what is Hilda doing here?"

"You may call her ma'am (Name) and I have appointed her as my personal-" he stopped at the expression on her face. Hurt? Why was she looking hurt?
There was a silence

"Well then I should go" (Name) said quietly. She didn't want to look at Hilda's gloating face. The King felt uncomfortable as she placed the coffee on his table. He gave a sigh glancing at Hilda.

"But you will still be making me coffee"

(Name) walked to the door where she stopped, "Am I dismissed your Highness" she asked

"Erm, yes"

(Name) walked out. Hilda smiled. This was going just as planned.
____________________________________________________________________________
(Name) was lazy, she admitted it, she was used to working though but she never enjoyed it. She had cleaned the kitchen, helped make some food, cleaned his stupidness's office and brushed down the hallways. But she didn't mind that part that much. What made her blood boil was how Hilda ordered her around, how she had to call her ma'm, how she was picked on. How nobody cared. Now she was tired, and in a bad mood. Her clothes were dirty and she didn't care if all the lords and dukes stared at her in disgust. Though she was supposed to stay clean she had made an effort to get dirty.

She didn't know whose bedroom she was cleaning and she couldn't care less, she had found a little chest under the person's bed and she was taking it out. She wasn't using her brain to think of the consequences.
(Name) dragged the chest out towards herself, half under the bed herself, she had finished cleaning and she didn't want anymore work. She didn't hear the door open, someone paused at the door.

"I see you're having fun looking through my things"

For a second (Name) thought it was the King, she jumped and her head hit the bottom of the bed. She whined but quickly shuffled out.

"I-erm don't know what you're talking about" she said kicking the chest back under the bed. The person raised his eyebrow.
"I'm just cleaning your room"

"I can see that" the guardian said, he glanced at her. "Why aren't you in Iva-

"he replaced me" (Name) sniffled "with her toadness ugly cow Hellda" (Name) snapped. The guardian sighed.

"I know what you are going to say" (Name) said before he had time to speak. She put on a low voice "deep down in his heart, he's actually a good person" the guardian raised his eyebrows, amused "well guess what buddy" (Name) snapped jabbing him "He doesn't have a heart" she started muttering curses under her breath.

"I wasn't actually going to say that" The guardian said slowly "no, Ivan lost his brain" he agreed walking past her and picking up his chest. (Name) stared t it curiously.

"Hey why are you allowed to call him Ivan?" she asked

"Because I'm" The guardian said glancing at the little pin stuck in the keyhole. He blinked when he lifted the lid. (Name)'s eyes widened. She wanted to see what was inside.

"Where were you anyway?" (Name) asked

"Work"

"Welll NOOOOOOOOO"

The door opened again. Hilda walked in.

"(Name)" she snapped "why aren't you-"

"I'm talking to (Name) Hilda, I would appreciate if you knocked before entering" The guardian said coldly. Hilda blinked, glancing at (Name).

"I'm so sorry sir I thought o-"

"Just go"

"Sir, (Name) needs to go and make coffee for-"

"Tell Ivan that (Name) won't be able to make him coffee, I've decided that she'll be my personal maid, tell Ivan I'm looking after her for a while until things calm down"
(Name) blinked.

"But sir, you can't tell The King what to do and you should call him his Majesty!" Hilda spluttered

"And you can't talk to me like that Hilda" The Guardian hissed "your job is to go tell Ivan what I've told you, it's not your place to interfere is it Hilda?"

"No sir"

"Exactly, Ivan will understand"

"Yes sir" Hilda said walking out. When she had closed the door behind her, (Name) turned to the guardian.

"I like you" she said brightly. Like always, the guardian raised his eyebrow. "I'm honored" he said. (Name) grumbled to herself.
___________________________________________________________________
"Your Highness" Hilda said

"Yes Hilda?"

"Um, your highness (Name) will not be making coffee for you"

"And why is that?" King Ivan asked coldly

"Your Guardian took her in as a personal maid, he said he will be looking after her" Hilda whispered. The King stared at her. He stood up, anger flashing in his eyes. He stormed out.

(Name) was innocently pretending to clean that guys office. Instead she had 'cleaned' his shelf.  What was his name? Oh right he didn't have a name. She took out a book flipping through the pages. Booooriiiiing. An empty cup of coffee sat on the table. She was just about to reach for another book when the door burst open.
(Name) jumped dropping the book She turned around and blinked.

"Your...highness" she said edging backwards.

"When I tell you to make coffee you make it" King Ivan hissed. (Name) was quiet.

"I was going to but that guardian person stopped me" she said. "It's not my fault"

"Don't talk to me like that sunflower" The King said through clenched teeth.

"Calm down" (Name) thought.

"I'm sorry" she said bluntly. "I have to clean this office"

"You are making me coffee"

"...fine" (Name) snapped.

"Don't talk to me like that" The King yelled. Every time she talked he felt something erupt in his brain, he didn't like it, it- it was probably the way she talked.

"What did I do now?" (Name) asked frustrated.

"Every time you talk in that stupid idiotic voice of yours, it makes my blood boil" King Ivan yelled stepping forward swiping his hand across the shelf so the books fell off.

"What was that for?" (Name) yelled "You think I make your blood boil? Well you make my blood boil you big headed stupid idiotic pig brained smelly cow!" (childish tsk)

There was a silence.

The King stepped forwards lifting (Name) up and pushing her against the wall "Why you little-"  (Name) squeaked.

"Gerof" she said trying to wrench her wrists away. Dejavu.

The King raised his fist. (Name) got ready to die her eye widening. The door opened, King Ivan brought his fist forward, (Name) squeezed her eyes shut. Silence.

"Step back Ivan" someone said, his voice shaking with anger. The King quickly let go, stepping back. He stared at his guardian his face going red. he looked away.

"Congratulations Ivan" The guardian said coldly. There was a silence. "Get out" the guardian said quietly.

"You can't tell m-"

"I said get the BLOODY HELL OUT" The guardian repeated his voice rising. Ivan half ran out. (Name) sniffled.

"I could have done it myself"
There was a silence.

"Go to bed (Name)" The guardian said tiredly. (Name) shuffled out, she closed the door behind her quickly walking towards her room. Half way there she saw the King sitting down, leaning on the wall, his head in his hand, clenching his teeth. (Name) walked quicker. In her bedroom she closed the door, sighed and sat on her bed.

Stupid King. She thought. Stupid stupid King
